Blunderworks LLC ("Blunderworks," "we," "us," or "our"), a Missouri limited liability company, operates the mobile game Cable Monster (the "Game"), including the version that may be listed in app stores as Cable Monster: Untangle Puzzle.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Game.
1. Information You Provide to Us
Cable Monster does not require or offer user accounts, profiles, usernames, or login credentials.
The Game does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, contacts, or other directly identifying personal information as part of normal gameplay.
If you contact us directly, such as by emailing [email protected], we will receive the information you choose to include in that communication, including your email address.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Cable Monster uses third-party services for analytics, advertising, in-app purchases, and related game functionality. These services may automatically collect or process certain information when you use the Game.
Depending on your device, location, privacy choices, and applicable law, this information may include:
- An anonymous or pseudonymous installation or player identifier
- Device identifiers and app-specific identifiers
- Advertising identifiers, such as Apple's IDFA or Google's advertising ID, when permitted
- IP address
- Country or approximate location inferred from an IP address
- Device type, manufacturer, model, operating system, language, screen characteristics, and similar technical information
- Game sessions and gameplay activity
- Level progress and gameplay events
- Ad impressions, ad views, clicks, and interactions
- Rewarded-ad activity, including rewards such as hearts or hints
- Purchase and transaction events
- App performance, crash, and diagnostic information
Blunderworks does not use Cable Monster to request precise GPS location.
We do not associate gameplay analytics with a name, email address, or user-created account because Cable Monster does not have such accounts.
3. Unity Analytics
We use Unity Analytics to understand how Cable Monster is played and to improve the Game.
Analytics may include events such as:
- Starting or completing levels
- Gameplay activity and progression
- Game sessions
- Advertising and rewarded-ad events
- In-app purchase events
- Other interactions with Game features
Unity may assign a randomly generated installation or player identifier to distinguish one installation of the Game from another.
Unity may also process technical information such as device information, IP address, country or approximate location, session information, and related identifiers as part of providing its services.
We do not provide Unity Analytics with your name, email address, or other information that you enter into the Game because the Game does not collect such information.
4. Advertising
Cable Monster displays advertising through Unity LevelPlay mediation.
At launch, advertising partners may include:
- Unity Ads
- ironSource
- Google AdMob
- Liftoff Monetize / Vungle
These providers and their advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, device information, ad impressions, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for purposes including:
- Serving advertisements
- Personalizing advertisements when permitted
- Measuring advertising performance
- Limiting how often advertisements are shown
- Detecting fraud and invalid traffic
- Providing aggregated reporting
- Improving advertising services
Advertising partners may combine information collected through Cable Monster with information obtained from other apps, websites, or services where permitted by law and by your privacy choices.
Blunderworks does not sell personal information for money. However, the disclosure of identifiers and similar information to advertising partners for personalized advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws.
5. Personalized Advertising and Your Choices
Cable Monster may display personalized advertising where allowed.
iOS
On iOS, Cable Monster uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework where required.
If you permit tracking, advertising partners may access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and use information for personalized advertising and measurement.
If you decline tracking, Cable Monster will not authorize use of the IDFA for cross-app tracking, and advertising will be limited or non-personalized as required by the applicable advertising services and privacy settings.
You can change tracking permissions through your iOS privacy settings.
Android and Other Advertising Choices
Android provides controls for advertising identifiers and advertising personalization through device settings.
Advertising providers may also provide their own privacy and opt-out mechanisms.
Non-personalized or limited advertising may still require processing of information such as an IP address, device information, and contextual information in order to deliver an advertisement, prevent fraud, and operate the advertising service.
6. Consent for Advertising
Where required by applicable law, including in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with consent requirements, Cable Monster uses a consent mechanism to request your advertising privacy choices.
Google's consent platform and related advertising-consent tools may be used to obtain and communicate these choices to participating advertising providers.
You may be able to withdraw or modify your consent through privacy options provided in the Game, through an advertisement, through your device settings, or through the applicable advertising provider.
7. In-App Purchases
Cable Monster may offer a one-time purchase to remove advertising as described within the Game.
Purchases are processed through the platform from which you downloaded the Game, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Blunderworks does not receive or store your complete credit card, debit card, or bank account information.
We and our service providers may receive transaction-related information necessary to confirm purchases, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and measure purchase activity.
8. Rewarded Advertising
Cable Monster allows players to voluntarily watch certain advertisements in exchange for in-game benefits, such as:
- A heart
- Three hints
Information about completion of a rewarded advertisement and delivery of the corresponding reward may be processed in order to provide the reward, measure advertising activity, and prevent abuse.
These virtual rewards have no cash value.
9. Notifications
Cable Monster may request permission to send notifications for purposes such as reminders to return to the Game.
You may allow or deny notification permission and may change your choice at any time through your device settings.
Depending on the notification technology used by your device or platform, a device or notification token and related technical information may be processed solely as necessary to deliver notifications.
Cable Monster does not use notification permission to access your contacts, messages, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
10. Data Retention
Different service providers retain information for different periods according to their own policies and legal obligations.
For example, Unity Analytics currently states that raw Analytics event data is generally retained for 13 months, while certain player-level metrics may be retained for longer unless deleted.
Blunderworks does not maintain a user account that permanently associates your identity with your Cable Monster installation.
Deleting Cable Monster removes locally stored Game data from the device, subject to operating-system backups, app-store purchase records, and other platform functionality outside Blunderworks' control.
Deleting the Game also prevents that installation from generating new analytics or advertising events. Previously collected data may remain with service providers for their applicable retention periods.
11. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights concerning personal information, which may include rights to:
- Request access to certain personal information
- Request deletion or correction
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent
- Opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing of personal information
Because Cable Monster does not maintain named user accounts, Blunderworks may not be able to connect an email request to pseudonymous information generated by a particular device or installation without additional information.
Where available, privacy rights relating to advertising identifiers or SDK-generated data may also be exercised through your device settings, in-app privacy controls, or the applicable service provider.

12. Children's Privacy
Cable Monster is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13.
Blunderworks does not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide names, email addresses, account information, or other directly identifying information through the Game.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner that requires parental consent under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise address that information.

13. Third-Party Services
Third-party services used by Cable Monster maintain their own privacy policies and data practices.
These may include:
- Unity Technologies, including Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, ironSource, and LevelPlay
- Google, including Google AdMob
- Liftoff Mobile, including Liftoff Monetize / Vungle
- Apple, for iOS distribution, purchases, and platform services
- Google, for Google Play distribution, purchases, and platform services
Their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable agreements.
14. International Processing
Cable Monster is distributed internationally.
Information processed by our service providers may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you live, including the United States and other locations where those providers operate.
Where required, appropriate legal mechanisms are used by the applicable providers for international transfers of personal information.
15. Security
We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Cable Monster, our service providers, applicable laws, or our data practices change.
The updated policy will be posted at:
